Key topics included:
– Introduction to industrial robotics
– Robot simulation and movement types
– Integration of sensors and actuators
– Pick & place tasks and object palletization
– Development, presentation and defense of a final project

Final Project:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, I contributed to the development of an automation program for a UR robot applied to the biotechnology field. The system simulated an automated cloning workflow, with the robot performing the solution-mixing step in the assembly of cloning vectors, demonstrating the potential of robotics for laboratory automation.

I completed the course with a final grade of 17/20, supported by a PRR scholarship.

This project reinforced my interest in the application of automation and robotics to biotechnology and biomedical research environments.
